Define what one unit contains
Product names identify the family to discuss. Use the requirement field to distinguish feather and nylon construction, cork or composite base material, supplier speed marking and intended court environment. The catalog does not state a current model specification, accepted test result, price or delivery promise.
Write quantities in pieces, dozens or tubes and specify pieces per tube and tubes per carton. A request for 10 tubes at 12 pieces each is 120 pieces; this arithmetic is an example, not an offered pack size. Keep quantity by speed or construction variant separate so a supplier can explain any minimums or changes.
Ask for the exact proposed item identifier, material and construction description, dimensions and weight in g, requested sample and pack details. State which sample observations the buyer will use for acceptance and which documents still need review. Exact-item test evidence cannot be assumed from a similar product name.
Neutral packaging and a custom printed tube can have different proofing, sample and artwork costs. Record pack ratio, carton dimensions and destination scope before comparing factory quotations. Include a US city and ZIP code, desired timing and any receiving restrictions so freight assumptions can be discussed.
If cost guidance is useful, add an optional budget with currency and a per-piece, per-dozen, per-tube or whole-order basis. A supplier-tier preference identifies your priorities rather than an established supplier grade. Material alternatives, printing finish and service scope should be compared against required acceptance criteria.
Continue with the sourcing method, use Spec Review, read the procurement brief or send a requirement. Catalog options are inquiry paths; supplier confirmation is needed before purchasing.
