Shuttlecock sample dimensions and construction review

Spec Review

Wholesale badminton shuttlecock specification review

Match the quotation, sample and requested evidence to one identified item. A visible photograph is a starting point; it does not establish the material description, dimensions, weight, speed designation or production approval.

Request a specification review

An item record that exposes missing answers

Material record

Request feather or nylon identification, base construction and the exact quoted item identifier. Confirm which sample represents the proposal.

Use a separate row for every construction and speed variant. Record the requested value, supplier response and buyer decision; retain the source document revision with each answer. Blank cells mean unresolved questions, not acceptable defaults.

Review fieldWhat to requestAcceptance question
Material and constructionFeather or nylon skirt; cork or composite base descriptionDoes the sample match the quoted construction?
Dimensions and weightRequested dimensions in mm and weight in g, with agreed variationWhich measurement method and allowance will govern?
Speed and environmentSupplier speed designation and indoor review conditionsHas the buyer approved flight observations for this use?
Quantity and pack basisPieces per tube, tubes per carton and pack ratioDo both quotations represent the same piece count?
Delivery scopeUS destination, carton dimensions, freight inclusions and exclusionsWhich charges are missing from the comparison?
Evidence identifierExact item, manufacturer identification and document revisionDoes exact-item test evidence cover this proposal?

A request for 50 tubes containing 12 pieces each totals 600 pieces. If another proposal uses a different tube count, convert to pieces before comparing. This worked example is not a price, stock, order minimum or standard pack declaration.

Make the review reproducible

Buyer provides the acceptance plan

  1. Identify the sample. Record the supplier item identifier, construction, speed marking, sample date and artwork revision before unpacking.
  2. Write the conditions. Note court location, indoor conditions, reviewer and intended activity; use the same agreed comparison routine for each sample.
  3. Separate observations from approval. Log measured dimensions, weight, visible defects and court observations, then ask the designated buyer to accept or reject each criterion.
  4. Close the production questions. Ask whether the approved sample represents the proposed construction and pack; retain open document questions until the supplier answers.

Supplier supplies item-specific answers

Ask for the proposed construction, exact-item document revision, production sample relationship and confirmed pack details. The service organizes those questions; supplier records remain subject to review.

Three limits remain: a related sample cannot approve a different production item; a product-family claim cannot establish certification; and a favorable unit price cannot resolve omitted freight or packaging costs. The review method offers procurement checks, not laboratory results.

High-end, mid-range and budget preferences should be translated into permitted material, finish and service trade-offs. Keep necessary performance criteria separate from optional custom packaging. Undecided buyers can ask for alternatives on the same recorded scope without an existing quote.

Request an item-specific review

Send the proposed construction, quantity, destination, timing and unresolved acceptance questions. Browse the inquiry catalog, check sourcing responsibilities or read the procurement brief before submitting.

State required specifications, quantity, destination and delivery timing. Unknown details can be marked for confirmation; a real supplier quote is not required to start.
